I currently live and work in Cascais, Portugal. Having always been part of pluralistic societies, this aspect profoundly influences my work, which reflects socio-cultural diversity through various themes, particularly in the creation of characters and archetypes.

My artwork prominently features female characters that engage with themes of figurative representation, duality, and beauty. The focus of my work lies in deconstruction, utilizing essential lines and forms to present different personalities, often characterized by strong and expressive colors.

Rather than adhering to realism, I combine traits to craft convincing female figures that invite interpretive and subliminal readings from the audience. Viewers can recognize the diverse expressions of feminine beauty presented in my art. I aim to highlight the various personalities within the female experience and encourage an appreciation for exotic and unconventional yet contemporary forms of beauty.

The female figures in my work challenge the traditional standards of perfection promoted by societal norms. My goal is to captivate the audience through compelling representations that evoke thought and emotion.

I find myself most at ease while painting, focusing on stimulating the audience's interpretative power. I am drawn to enigmatic, proportional, or asymmetrical features and expressions that leave a lasting impression on the viewer. My characters often possess a sense of ambiguity, evoking curiosity, which enhances the viewer's experience.
