Artist Statement:
Linda Coppens is an abstract painter working with gesture, rhythm, and process. Her recent work focuses on the moment before resolution, where marks remain visible, provisional, and unresolved. By stopping deliberately, she preserves tension and immediacy, allowing the painting to exist in a state of suspended balance. Her work explores how energy can be sustained without closure.
