I am a figurative painter. I love people, they fascinate me.Some would say I paint 'ordinary' people, but to me evrybody is extraordinary. Everyone has a story to tell, and that is what I love the most- to capture a little piece of that.

I love to paint skin, it is, to me beautiful, regardless of age, shape, size or colour.I love the tones, folds, creases and curves.

I paint in oils. I love the sexy fluidity of the paint, the richness of tone and the delicious smells that the process creates- with the linseed, turpentine and spirit.

I was very fortunate to have been taught through my school years by Vincent Wilson RA, member of the Newlyn School of Art, he will always remain my source of inspiration.

I have self developed since school.
