Debora Stewart

I am an abstract artist working with soft pastel on paper and acrylic on canvas. I'm a Signature Member and Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America, a published author and workshop instructor.

I have received numerous awards for my pastel paintings and have exhibited in juried exhibitions in the U.S., France and China.

I'm represented by galleries in Atlanta, Scottsdale, Tucson, St. Louis and Midwest.

My work is very expressive and often reflects nature and gardens.

I have a B. A. in art from the University of Iowa and a M.S. Ed. in counseling from Western Illinois University.
I have been a life long artist and have studied extensively on my own.
In 2006 I took an intuitive drawing workshop from artist Clive King.
In 2018/19 I attended workshop and masters residency with artist Steven Aimone.

Awards from Pastel Society of America, Pastel Journal magazine and International Artist Magazine.

I have taught many workshops throughout the United States.
