Specifically they noted that when complimentary colors are placed next to each other, the individual colors become more vibrant. Complimentary colors are directly opposite each other on the color wheel.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.webdesignref.com\/examples\/colorwheel.htm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.webdesignref.com\/images\/figs13\/large_colorwheel.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"401\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">color wheel<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Here in one of his famous sunrise works, Monet takes advantage of the complementary colors Blue and Orange to make this painting glow. The orange sun shines much more intensely surrounded by a patch of blue sky.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 409px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/miltongantt\/claude-monet\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\"
