In \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ode_to_the_West_Wind\">Ode To The West Wind<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Percy_Bysshe_Shelley\">Percy Bysshe Shelley<\/a> famously wrote \u201cif winter comes, can spring be far behind?\u201d Here I am on the verge of winter in New England, with all the activities and contemplations that come along with the time of year when one year ends and another begins. Some will portray cycles of life, revisiting the same subject through the progression of time; others will create compositions that seem to \u201ccome full circle\u201d with elements that recur or repeat.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12501\" style=\"width: 407px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zatista.com\/product\/details\/25552\/Not-So-Daily-Painting-2012-006\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12501\" class=\" wp-image-12501 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.zatista.com\/art\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2012\/11\/Not-So-Daily-Painting-2012-006-by-Marilyn-Fenn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"397\" height=\"425\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-12501\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Not-So-Daily Painting 2012-006 by Marilyn Fenn on Zatista.com<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Others will take things more literally, and feature actual circles in their work, with no need to explain further.
